Will IDoItOnTime run properly in my browser?
|
IDoItOnTime may be accessed on any computer using any of the commonly used browsers. We have taken reasonable efforts to test IDoItOnTime with Firefox, Internet Explorer, Opera and Safari. For the best experience, we recommend using Firefox 2 or IE7. |

What does it mean that IDoItOnTime is in 'beta'?
|
When a site or an application is in beta, it means that work is still in progress and features are still in the process of being introduced and tested. It automatically follows that you may encounter a bug or two in the functioning while it is in beta.

A couple of Idiots who were extremely disorganized and prone to regularly forgetting things decided to sort out their lives and came up with this concept. Once the idea got crystallized, a team was put together to put together the geek stuff and here we are with our Bubble Catcher. We are currently based out of India and looking forward to collect bubbles from people all over the globe! What happens if I check the 'Keep Me Signed In' checkbox when I log in?
|
When you check the box and log in, a cookie is set on your system and you will be automatically signed in when you access the site the next time around. To disable the cookie, simply click on the 'Logout' link.
As a matter of safety, you should leave this box unchecked if you share your computer with other people. |

How can I change my password?
|
To change your password, log into your account and click on the 'Settings' menu on the toolbar.
Next, click on the change Password link under the toolbar.
Confirm your Old Password, enter the New Password and retype the New Password in the text boxes provided.
Click the 'Save' button to save your New Password. |

How can I set or change my Settings?
|
To change your Settings, log into your account and click on the 'Settings' menu on the toolbar.
Set/Change the settings that you want to.
Click the 'Save Settings' button to save your new settings. |

How do I set my time-zone?
|
To change your time-zone, log into your account and click on the 'Settings' menu on the toolbar.
Next, click on the 'Update Profile' link under the toolbar.
Select the time-zone from the drop down menu.
Click the 'Save Settings' button to save your new time-zone. |

How do I log out of Idoitontime.com?
|
To log out of your account, simply click on the 'Sign Out' link at the top right hand corner of the page.
To ensure the security of your account, it is especially important to sign out of your account on computers that are used by other people. |

What happens to accounts that are not accessed for long periods of time?
|
Accounts that are not accessed (i.e. logged into) for three months are suspended by the System Administrator even if reminders are preset and the account is sending out reminders. Once an account is suspended, it will continue to remain suspended for a further period of three months and unless a request is received from the User to reactivate the account within three months from the date of suspension, the account is classified as a Dormant Account and will be permanently deleted from our system.
If your account is deleted, all the data/content you might have entered in your account will be lost and we shall not be held responsible for the same. |

Why can't I log into my account?
|
You may not be able to log into your account for one or more of the following reasons :
The Username you entered may be wrong.
The password you entered may be wrong.
Your account may be suspended. This happens if your account is not accessed for three to six months.
Your account may be deleted. This happens if your account is not accessed for more than six months. |

Can I change my username?
|
No your Username cannot be changed once you complete the Registration process.
You may however Sign Up for a new account with a new Username of your choice. |
|

How do I cancel my account?
|
To cancel your account on Idoitontime.com, log into your account and click on the 'Settings' menu on the toolbar.
Next, click on the 'Cancel Account' link under the toolbar.
Enter your Password in the text provided.
Confirm once again by clicking on the 'Confirm Cancel Account' button to permanently delete your account.
Once you Cancel your account, all the data/content you might have entered in your account will be lost and we shall not be held responsible for the same.
The Username, however may continue to remain in our records for our reference. |

What can I do with a Free Account?
|
When you sign up for a Free Account you can :
1. Set a maximum of 20 reminders at any point of time. Once you have completed setting 20 reminders, you have to either delete some of your older reminders or you may upgrade to a Pro Account.
2. You can add upto 20 contacts to your contacts list under a Free Account. Thereafter, you either need to delete some of your existing contacts or you may upgrade to a Pro Account. |

Can I purchase SMS credits under a Free Account?
|
No, you cannot purchase any SMS credits under a Free Account. However, you can "earn" SMS credits by undertaking various actions on the Site such as writing testimonials, suggesting new uses and/or features to the Site etc. |

Can I send SMS reminders under a Free Account?
|
Of course! If you have sufficient SMS credits to your account, you can set and send SMS reminders using a Free Account. Although, you cannot make any SMS credit purchases, you can still "earn" SMS credits under a free Account and set SMS reminders till such time as you have credit in your account. Thereafter, you either need to earn more SMS credits or you may upgrade to a Pro Account to purchase SMS credits. |

What are Pro accounts?
|
Pro Accounts are a way for you to acknowledge that IDoItOnTime is helping you remember things better and making sure that nothing slips through the cracks. It is your way of supporting the effort that IDoItOnTime is.
By signing up for a Pro Account you have access to some really cool benefits which a Free Account would not give you. These include additional features, priority support via email and an affiliate status whereby you can earn some money whenever users referred/introduced by you make any purchases on our site. However, there is a small fee associated with the Pro Accounts.

What are Gift Pro Accounts?
|
A Gift Pro Account is a Pro account that you gift to somebody. When you purchase a Gift Pro Account, you are given an Activation Code which you gift to somebody. When the receiver of your gift logs into I Do It On Time, he can enter the Activation Code and upgrade his Free Silver Account. Quite obviously, he need to have a Free Silver Account or he may Sign Up for one. |

How can I activate my Gift Pro Account?
|
If you have received the Activation Code for a Gift Pro Account, you need to log in and Click on the Upgrade My Account link. On the Upgrade Account page, click on the 'Gift Pro Account' and enter your activation code to activate your Gift Pro Account.

How long is a Gift Pro Activation Code valid?
|
A Gift Pro Activation Code is valid for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase/issue of the code after which it expires. No refunds or adjustments can be made against expired activation codes. However, the Gift Pro Account is transferable if it has not been used which means that if the original receiver has not utilized the activation code, you may gift the same to someone else. As long as the activation code is utilized within a period of 12 months, it will activate a Pro Account. |

How does priority support work?
|
Priority Support enables you jump the regular Silver Club queue for support so that your query/difficulty receives a quicker response from our team. Platinum Club members will have priority over the Gold Club in receiving support.
We cannot commit to response times because there may be other club members ahead of you in the support queue. However, we assure you that our team will take reasonable efforts to resolve your issues at the earliest.

What happens if my Pro account expires?
|
If your Pro Account expires, your status is reduced to a Silver Club member and any benefits that you have access to as a Pro Account holder will not be available till such time as your status is restored. However, there is no reason to worry; none of your settings are lost while your status is altered.
We will also keep you informed about the impending expiry and your status will be restored as soon as you renew/upgrade your account again. Please note that the renewal/upgrade charges apply from the date of expiry of your old account. To avoid any inconvenience due to non-renewal, you may opt for an Auto-Renewal of your Pro Account. |

How do I set a reminder?
|
Sign In and Click on Reminders in the tool bar. The Set Reminder option is automatically highlighted.
Select the appropriate checkbox to indicate how you want to receive the reminder message i.e. by email or SMS or both.
Enter a Reminder Title (optional)
Select the date on which you want the reminder to be set.
Select the time at which the reminder is to be set.
Enter the text that you want to be sent as email/SMS.
Choose the contact to whom you want the reminder to be sent.
Click on Set Reminder. |

How do I set a recurring reminder?
|
Sign In and Click on Reminders in the tool bar. The Set Reminder option is automatically highlighted.
Select the appropriate checkbox to indicate how you want to receive the reminder message i.e. by email or SMS or both.
Enter a Reminder Title (optional)
Select the date on which you want the reminder to be set.
Select the time at which the reminder is to be set.
Enter the text that you want to be sent as email/SMS.
Choose the contact to whom you want the reminder to be sent.
Click on the Repeat button.
Choose the period of recurrence and the recurring pattern you want to set for your reminder.
Click on 'Continue to Set Reminder'

How many reminders can I set up?
|
The Free Account allows you to set up a maximum of 20 free reminders to be notified either by email or SMS or both. With the Pro Account, the number of reminders you can set are unlimited. |

How do I rename a reminder?
|
You cannot rename a reminder that is already sent.
For any active reminder i.e. a reminder which is not yet sent or one that is set with a recurring pattern, 'Sign In' and click on 'Reminders' in the tool bar. Click on 'View' to see all the reminders set through your account.
Identify the reminder you wish to rename and click on the Edit Link against that reminder.
You can now change the Text in the Reminder Title textbox.
Click on 'Update Reminder' to complete the process. |

How do I delete a reminder?
|
'Sign In' and click on 'Reminders' in the tool bar. Click on 'View' to see all the reminders set through your account.
Identify the reminder you wish to delete.
Click on the 'Delete' link against that reminder.
Confirm deletion in the dialogue box that opens on the screen to complete the process. |

How do I clone or make an additional copy of a reminder?
|
'Sign In' and click on 'Reminders' in the tool bar. Click on 'View' to see all the reminders set through your account.
Identify the reminder you wish clone or make a copy of.
Click on the 'Clone' link against that reminder.
The Set Reminder page will open up with all the details of the original reminder.
You may make any changes that you wish to and click on 'Set Reminder' to complete the process.
If you wish to, you may apply a recurring pattern to a cloned reminder before setting the reminder. |

How do I attach a file to a reminder?
|
You can attach files only to reminders that are sent by email. On the Set Reminder page, click on the checkbox for Email.
Click on the 'Attach File' displayed under the Reminder Title.
Browse and select the file(s) you wish to attach.
Click on 'Continue to Set Reminder'
The attached files are displayed under the Reminder Title.
You may remove any of the attached files by clicking on the 'Remove' link next to the name of the attached files that is displayed. Click on 'Set Reminder'. |

How do I view 'Already Sent' reminders?
|
'Sign In' and click on 'Reminders' in the tool bar. Click on 'View' to see all the reminders set through your account.
In the drop down menu shown in the section 'Display Reminders of Type', select the 'Already Sent' option. |

Why aren't my email reminders not being delivered?
|
The first time when you register on the Site, a "Welcome email" is sent to the email address that you specify at the time of registration. While you may have access to the site immediately upon registration, any reminders that you set are not sent out until the first time you log into your account using the Username and Password that is sent as part of the "Welcome email".
Apart from this, there is no reason why a reminder that is set correctly will not be delivered. If you think the reminders are not going, please make sure that the email mentioned in the contact details is/are correct and not misspelled. Next, ensure that the checkbox(es) next to the Email address(es) to which you want the reminder to be sent are checked. If the email address(es) are correct, there may be a possibility that the email service provider is treating the mails as spam and relegating them to the spam or junk folder. |

Why am I not receiving the reminders at the right time?
|
You may receive the reminders at the wrong time or on the wrong day because of improper setting of your time-zone. Make sure the time zone setting is right and try again. To check your time zone setting, click here.
For email reminders, there may be a slight lag but this lag should be consistent in all the emails received. It is recommended that you set a few test reminders and evaluate the time lag involved and accordingly factor in the time lag when you set new reminders. For SMS reminders, we utilize a third party service and the deliveries are dependent on the load on their infrastructure at any point of time. However, a fair degree of consistency is maintained as in case of emails and once you send a few test SMS reminders you should be able to factor in the time lag for any new reminders that you set.
There is however, no definite way to ensure that the reminders reach you exactly at any specific time and a slight degree of deviation is expected. |

Can I receive/send reminders at more than one email address of a contact?
|
Yes, you can receive/send email reminders at upto two email addresses for each contact including yourself. To choose which email address(es) of any contact the email reminder has to be sent to, you need to check the box next to the email address to which you want the reminder to be sent. To do so, follow the steps below :
'Sign In' and click on 'Contacts' in the tool bar. Click on 'View' to see all the contacts set through your account.
Identify the contact you wish to see the settings for and click on the 'Edit' link against that contact.
Verify that the email address(es) are correctly entered and check the box(es) next to the email address(es) to which you want the reminder to be sent.
Click on 'Save' to complete the process. |

What are SMS credits and why do I need to pay for them?
|
SMS Credits are what you need to buy or earn in order to send your reminders directly to a mobile phone through a text message or short messaging service (SMS). As we use third party services to deliver the SMS to you and your contacts, there is a small fee charged for each SMS depending on which country the mobile (to which the SMS is sent) is registered in. This fee is adjusted against the SMS credits available in your SMS Account. You may either purchase SMS credits or earn SMS credits to replenish the credits available to you. |

How many SMS credits would be charged for a SMS reminder?
|
Depending on the country in which the mobile phone is registered, the SMS credits are deducted from your Account. For a complete list of countries where the SMS service is available and the credits charged to send an SMS to these countries, click here
For example, if you set an SMS reminder for two contacts on your list, two separate SMS will be sent and hence the charge of two SMS will apply.
For India, it is 1 SMS credit for every SMS sent. For the SMS credit tariff of other countries, click here. The SMS credits charged for different countries are also displayed against the mobile number of the contact when you select the country to which the mobile phone belongs when you specify the same. |

How many SMS messages need to be sent to send a reminder message that I have set?
|
The number of SMS messages to be sent will depend on two factors as follows :
(a) The limit for a single SMS is 160 characters and hence depending upon the number of characters in your reminder message, multiple SMS will be sent.
(b) The number of contacts in your list that you wish to send the SMS reminder to.
So, if you intend to send a reminder message which is 170 characters long to 3 contacts, the system would have to send 2 X 3 = 6 SMS to complete sending the reminder. Assuming that the reminder is being sent to phones registered in India, 6 SMS credits would be deducted from your Account. |

Why should I opt to use SMS service for my reminders?
|
Invariably, there will be times when you will not be available at your seat or may not have access to your PC or email account. At such times you could miss out on important reminders that you might have set and it is therefore advisable to use the SMS option for any important reminders that you set.
In a lighter vein, you could use the SMS service to send text messages to your contacts while you are working on the PC in your office without the risk of your boss catching you using the phone!. |

Why aren't my SMS reminders not being delivered?
|
There is no reason why a reminder that is set correctly will not be delivered. If you think the reminders are not going, please make sure that the mobile number(s) mentioned in the contact details is/are correct. If the mobile number(s) is/are correct, there may be a possibility that the message settings are not correctly set on your mobile or your mobile may be in 'Power Off' mode.

How will I know when I need to buy more SMS credits?
|
Once your SMS credit balance drops down to 10 credits, we will send you a message to your email account and to your mobile phone number. Thereafter, whenever the system encounters a SMS reminder that you have previously and which the system cannot send for want of credits, the system will send you an email informing you of its inability to send your reminder and at the same time reminding you to top up your Account. |

What happens if my SMS credit balance reaches zero?
|
If your SMS credit balance becomes zero, you can no longer send any SMS reminders and any pre-scheduled reminders intended to be sent by SMS will not be sent. However, any reminders to be sent by email will be sent as scheduled. |

How does the search work?
|
You can use the 'Search' option the same way as you would use a search engine.
Enter a word, or a part of a word (or multiple words) that you want to locate on any page that you want to search in and then press the 'Enter' key on your keyboard or click on the 'Go' button. |

|

Can I change the email address(es) and mobile phone number(s) that I have specified for myself and my contacts?
|
Yes, you can change the email address(es) and mobile phone number(s) that you have entered for yourself and your contacts at any point of time. The new details will be used even for the previously scheduled reminders. However, you cannot change the username that you specify at the time of Registration. Even if the email address that you specify as your username at the time of Registration ceases to exist, you can continue to use your Account with the same username. |

How do I delete a contact?
|
'Sign In' and click on 'Contacts' in the tool bar. Click on the 'View Contacts' link.
Identify the contact you wish to delete and click on the 'Delete' link against the name of that contact.
Confirm the delete action in the dialog box that pops up. |

What are groups?
|
Groups are any set of contacts that have something in common. You can name the groups based on the commonality that the contacts share such as 'Friends' or 'Office Colleagues'. |

Is there any advantage of creating groups?
|
Yes, putting contacts into groups makes it easy to send a reminder to multiple people/contacts. You could simply select a group and mark the reminder to all of them rather than go through the entire list of contacts and individually selecting the contacts. For example, instead of individually select the names of all your friends, you could just choose the Friends group and click on Select All link to set a reminder to all your friends. |

How do I add a group?
|
'Sign In' and click on 'Contacts' in the tool bar. Click on the 'Add Group' link.
Enter a name for the group you wish to add.
Mark the check boxes next against the contact you wish to group together.
Click on 'Add Group' button to complete the process. |

How do I delete a group?
|
'Sign In' and click on 'Contacts' in the tool bar. Click on the 'View Groups' link.
Identify the group you wish to delete and click on the 'Delete' link against the name of that group.
Confirm the delete action in the dialog box that pops up. |

How do I add or delete a contact to/from a group?
|
'Sign In' and click on 'Contacts' in the tool bar. Click on the 'View Groups' link.
Click on 'Edit' link against the group to which you want to add a contact.
A list of all contacts is displayed with checkboxes marked against the contacts who are already part of the group.
You can check/uncheck the boxes against the contacts you wish to add to or delete from the group.
Once you are done with your selection, click on the 'Edit Group' button to complete the process. |

How do I invite others to join IDoItOnTime?
|
'Sign In' and click on 'Contacts' in the tool bar. Click on 'Invite Contacts'
Enter your Personal Message and enter the details of the contact you wish to invite. If you wish to invite another contact, click on the 'Add Another Contact' button and enter the details of the next contact.
Alternatively, you may click on the 'Contact List' link on the right hand side of the box to access contacts entered into your Contact List and select the contacts from the browser window that pops up.
Make sure that the 'Send Invite' box is checked.
Click on the 'Go' button to send the invitation. |

Can I import my contacts from my web-email account?
|
Of course! We have provided a feature to help you directly pull out contacts from user accounts on some of the popular web-email providers such as Gmail, Yahoo, MSN and Hotmail.
'Sign In' and click on 'Contacts' in the tool bar. Click on 'Import Contacts'
Enter your Username and Password, select the web email provider and click on 'Import Contacts'.
Once the list of your contacts is displayed, you may choose the contacts you wish to add to your contact list on IDoItOnTime.
Make sure the 'Add to Contact List' box is checked at the bottom of the list displayed and click on 'Go' to complete the process. |

I forgot my password. What should I do?
|
Click on the 'Forgot Password?' link under the Login Box. Fill up the details and submit.
A mail will be sent to your currently updated email address.
Check your mail and log in with the new password. |

|
Click on the 'Forgot Password?' link under the Login Box. Fill up the details and submit.
A mail will be sent to your currently updated email address.
Check your mail and log in with your Username indicated in the mail new password. |

How am I having trouble logging in?
|
If you are having trouble logging in check :
1. If the Username you entered is correct.
2. If the Password you are typing is correct.
3. If the internet connection is active.
If you are still having trouble signing in, it could be if your account has been made inactive for not being used for more than three months or if it has been deleted for not being used for more than six months. |

How do I clear my cache?
|
Follow the instructions for the browser you are currently using :
For Mozilla Firefox:
Go to Tools > Clear Private Data.
Choose which items you wish to clear and click Clear Private Data Now.
For Internet Explorer 6:
Go to Tools > Internet Options > General.
Click Delete Files. Check the box next to Delete all offline content In the window that opens and click on OK.
For Internet Explorer 7:
Go to Tools > Internet Options > General.
Under Browsing history click Delete. Choose which items you wish to delete and click the Delete button next to each item to delete it.
For Safari:
Go to Safari > Empty Cache.
Click Empty in the window that opens to clear the cache.
For Opera:
Go to Tools > Delete private data.
